Nautilus T616 Treadmill Had great anxiety about this purchase as many people write that they have had big problems with damages and unskilled professional assembly. When I received the box it was obviously damaged, and some of the damages had been taped over. I left the box closed, and waited for the professional assembler (from Amazon) to open it. Inside the box, there were many pieces of cardboard and styrofoam which absorbed the impacts and left the parts undamaged! I asked the assembler if he’d ever done this model before, and he laughed and said “Just a few hundred!” The way he swiftly unpacked the box, assembled the treadmill without hesitation and without referring to the instructions, and then tested it, makes me believe it! I’ve used it for just 10 minutes, but it was very nice! Much quieter than my old treadmill. I’ll add to the review after I’ve used it longer.

I have had nothing but problems with it since I received it and there doesn’t seem to be a fix.

I’ve updated firmware, replaced the computer and 2 entire top consoles and it still does not display accurately or sync with my phone.

The customer service is friendly enough, but this product is not good and should not be purchased.

This is a review of my 1st impression of the T616 – I will give a more detailed review after using it a few weeks.

First of all, I still find it impressive when you order something on a Wednesday and it gets delivered on Monday – particularly when it comes by freight, but that’s what happened here. Excellent delivery by Ceva who actually showed up early and called to confirm!

The unit in the box is MASSIVE. It took me 1 hour from when I walked up to the box until it was fully assembled. I had some help from my wife, mostly holding parts and gathering screws, and it went really easy. If you bought (or have) an allen-socket instead of using the supplied allen wrench
I think it could be assembled in less than 45 minutes.

I put the little moving-men things under the front feet and was able to slide it right into place on my carpet. Not sure if I’ll leave them on or not, but they do make it easy to position it.

The fold-up, fold-down could not be better and feels very solid. It’s surprisingly quiet when it’s on and it feels very sturdy and well made. The space for the iPad is at the ideal height to watch tv/movies while running.

I have it synced to my iPhone as well as the fitness websites and once I have some time running I’ll give my feedback on that. Check back in a few weeks for a more detailed and updated review.

    *****UPDATED 5-18-15*****

After having this treadmill for a couple of months I wanted to update my review. It dropped my 5 star review to a 3 star, here’s why:

    The good:
It’s a solid piece of equipment

    The bad:
    Anything electronic
I have had nothing but problems with the display and bluetooth connectivity.

    1: Displays wrong speed
    2: Displays wrong incline
    3: Displays wrong heart-rate
    4: Displays wrong distance
5: Very intermittent bluetooth syncing with iPhone (both 5s and 6)

I have had multiple phone call with Nautilus support; testing, resetting and updating the firmware, and although they are a friendly group, they cannot seem to fix the problems I’m having. Last time they took some information from me and said they’d call back with a solution, it’s a week later and I’m still waiting…

At this time I cannot recommend that you purchase this model. If my problem is rectified I will update my review.

Let me preface this by saying it was just set up a few hours ago and I have used it for about an hour. I will update my review after about a month, but for now I’ll give my first impressions.

The scheduled delivery worked very well, I was given a phone call the day before delivery (automated call) confirming the 3 hour delivery window.
The 2 man team arrived about 30 minutes before the end of the 3 hour window, they were very helpful, and wheeled it in on a dolly and brought it through the tornado doors into the basement. I felt bad I didn’t have much cash on hand and could give them each only $2.
They left the box where I asked and they took photos of the box for proof and had me sign once on the phone and once on paper.

I received a phone call (automated) alerting me the setup person (from the free Amazon assembly) was about 30 minutes away. He arrived 25 minutes later.

If you live in the Twin Cities area I hope you get Brian from Home Configure. He was amazing! One of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Was polite and prompt, and assembled the treadmill in less than 40 minutes! He then showed me how everything works, gave me tips for use and told me where to get the required maintenance materials (lubricant) for cheap (Walmart)!

The acutual treadmill looks identical to the picture, except the screen and controls are nicer! I am new to treadmills and this was easy enough to hop on and get moving, but with tons of features for me to learn along the way (and the experts to enjoy right away)!

I only used it for around an hour and at a 2% incline and 4MPH, but I tested all the other inclines and speeds briefly and they all worked.

The fan was very nice and you can charge your phone!

I will update after a month of use!
