I have been happily buying Brooks Adrenaline sneakers for about six years. Loved the combination of reliable, solid stability and great cushioning. The GTS 18 is a completely different shoe than it’s predecessors. It’s soft and it seems like the all support has been removed. Especially around the arch. I’m working much harder to get through my workouts, and I come home with aches and pains. Pain in my back, hips, knees and feet! My feet are also really hot in these, they don’t breath. Sizing has changed and I had to order a half size up. After two weeks the heels are showing wear. I’ve never had these issues with a new pair of Adrenaline’s before. This new design looks good, but it’s a major disappointment performance wise. Brooks, please add support back into your flagship stability sneaker. I’ll be purchasing another brand until Brooks makes a fix.

Before I review this product just a tidbit about my background. I spent 30 years in the Marine Corps. And have tried many brands of running shoes. These running shoes were purchased in Mach of 2018 and kept in the box until I left for a 12 day cruise onJune3. The idea was to use them while on vacation, running on the ships deck and treadmill. Needless to say the shoes are comfortable but after running on them for about 10 days, the shoes really lost their form and started to bow out ( outboard) making them very unstable. I’m 5’10” 165 lbs. These shows look like they game off a much heavier person. So needless to say they have been retired with less than 100 miles. My lost is your gain; use judgment if you are going to purchase these sub- standard running shoes.

I only purchase Brooks running shoes. Always. I’ve worn either Adrenaline or Transcend. I have always loved Adrenaline. That’s past. The material for the soles is very thin, soft and is already losing its tooth. I can tell now after one week I won’t be able to run in them for very long. Why would such a trusted company with a brand recognized shoe change the very foundation of the shoe? Very disappointing.
