    This listing is supposed to be for the black-faced 10th anniversary edition by Avalon. I received a regular silver Avalon, not the 10th anniversary edition like I was hoping for. Definitely not what I was expecting… Very disappointed. Avoid or buy from a different listing.

    Pure, clean and warm vocals are produced when using this channel strip. Improves any source material. Vocals become pronounced, instruments come to life. The compressor section is barely audible and is very transparent when used. The EQ section offers enough variety to dial in the sound you are looking for. This channel strip is built like a tank and the manufacturer stands behind all their products. The quality of the build speaks for itself. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Very clean sound from this unit. Would recommend to any SERIOUS musician/engineer. Turns sterile digital into a warm analog sound.
